Programme
Y Science 2024 will take place on November 20 in Messukeskus Helsinki.
Join us in Siipi Venue 5 at 10.30-14.30 to follow our stage programme including speeches, panel discussions and our exciting pitching competitions. More details regarding our programme will be updated during the fall.
If you instead prefer to focus on mingling with other attendees, stop by our networking area (Siipi Venue 6) between 10.30 and 15.30.
Pitching Competitions

In 2024, Y Science will host three pitching competitions:
Registrations to the Food Systems Pitching Competition are already closed, but the application calls for the Pharma Pitching Competition and the Sustainable Materials Pitching Competition are now open until September 23.

All finalists received pitch training from experienced communication specialists before the event, as well as a ticket to attend Slush and the opportunity to showcase their idea to potential investors. ​
Why Science
We're here to bring forth the value of science-based business, and encourage scientists to embrace a different way of thinking about impact. Y Science invites all those enthusiastic about life sciences and commercialization of research for a moment of mutual enlightenment.
The event originates from a collaboration between Slush and the University of Helsinki. In 2024, the event is organized by the Helsinki Institute of Life Science (HiLIFE) together with Helsinki Innovation Services Ltd., Orion Pharma, Viikki Food Design Factory and Aalto University.
